About the artwork

The notebook design is adapted from the much loved painting 'Almond Blossom' by Vincent van Gogh (1853-1890) depicting almond blossom branches against a turquoise blue sky. It's one of a series of Almond Blossom paintings he completed, inspired by Japanese printmaking, and one of his favorite subjects to paint, symbolising new life and hope.
