A pack of 10 traditional fine art cards perfect for Christmas, depicting a nativity scene, The Adoration of the Shepherds by Domenico Ghirlandaio (1448-1494).  A Renaissance era artist, Domenico painted himself into the scene, as a shepherd dressed in brown on the right, his left hand pointing in the direction of the Christ Child and the garland on the marble sarcophagus.  His right hand touches his chest.  He is symbolically indicating that he, the garland-maker, ('ghirlanda' means 'garland' in Italian) painted the miracle of Holy Child and was the creator of the scene.
